Exploring Life and Business with Jordan Eichenblatt and Chris Delahoz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Eichenblatt and Chris Delahoz.

Hi Jordan and Chris, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Jordan – I started working in television at the age of 19. A quick three years later, I was hosting my own show on ESPN called ESPNU Roadtrip. After three years of that, I decided I wanted to get behind the camera and create television, that led me to being hired to direct a commercial for a restaurant where I met Chris.

Chris – After graduating from UCF and Rollins, I found my way into the advertising world, where I worked with some of Orlando’s bigger accounts like Orlando Health, Darden, and Orlando City. With a little over six years of experience, I left the agency world to start Cholo Dogs and HI-FIVE with Jordan.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Jordan – It is definitely a brick road. There are small bumps and big bumps. When you are in charge, it is super scary, plus you are making decisions that can leave lasting effects on people. With Cholo Dogs, booking events, coming up with the next best hot dog is always a fun thing to do and with HIFIVE, finding the perfect combination for an ad of fun and informative is difficult but we always get there.

Chris – It’s safe to say that every road has bumps. We both like to think that the bumps are easier to navigate when you communicate and trust each other. Without those two things, it’s very hard to run a joint venture with someone. The further we go the easier it seems to get for us!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
HIFIVE is an advertising agency that specializes in 3 pillars, creative, content, and digital. What sets HIFIVE apart from others is what we offer as services and our own custom approach that we take to a project or an account. The Brand of HIFIVE is a nationally recognized agency that validates the type of work we do. Getting recognized as a young agency has not made us slow up, but work harder to accomplish this for every project.

Cholo Dogs is a Mexican Hot Dogs cart that is wrestling-themed. With four main hot dogs or as we call them “Weens,” our brand has won multiple awards, our hot dogs have won a few awards and our customers are always bringing new friends to try our product. We are most proud of the fact that we have multiple times gone somewhere and seen someone wearing a cholo dogs shirt or heard them talking about it in line for a different hot dog.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Jordan – Pizza. But in reality, making people smile makes me happy. If someone smiles they will make another person smile. But seeing my friends and family healthy and happy makes me the happiest.

Chris – Giving, bringing, and sharing happiness makes me the happiest because not only is it an act or a feeling but its a moment that you can share with other people, and to me, that’s really special.
