Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Brent and Angela Baldasare.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We met in 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia, while Dr. Baldasare was working on his Doctorate at Life University School of Chiropractic. Dr. Baldasare first experienced chiropractic after a paralyzing college football injury and knew immediately that he wanted to dedicate his life to it. We always dreamed of creating a one-stop shop for wellness and aesthetics, a place where patients could feel safe and well cared for on their journey to optimal health.
We got married in 1999, and our vision was realized in 2000 when we opened Affinity Healthcare Center. It was a tiny (but mighty) wellness center that grew faster than we could have imagined! After almost twenty years in business and two expansions, we’re finally feeling at home in our 5,000-square-foot facility. Our current space has ten treatment rooms outfitted with the safest, highest-rated, FDA-approved aesthetic equipment in the industry, and our treatment options include chiropractic, joint pain relief, laser resurfacing, Botox, skincare, and so much more. We’ve been able to serve over 35,000 patients since opening our doors back in 2000!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It certainly hasn’t been a smooth road, and I think any business owner would be lying if they told you otherwise. 2020 was our hardest year to date. We made the decision to close our doors from March through May of last year so we weren’t burning through valuable PPE like gloves, alcohol, and masks that first responders so desperately needed. We donated what we had on hand to our local fire department and hoped for the best. We honestly weren’t sure if we’d make it through the year, but we did it! That’s all thanks to our absolutely wonderful patients. We’re so incredibly blessed to have patients that trusted us enough to schedule virtual consultations, purchase their treatments and products ahead of time, and send us words of encouragement through the shutdown.
We’ve been back since May 2020, and we’ve been paying it forward by making sure to provide the cleanest, safest experience possible for our patients.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes us the happiest is the emotional paychecks we receive from providing this type of care for our patients. At the end of the day, we do this because we like to make people FEEL good. Whether that means being free from pain for the first time in years or feeling confident and beautiful after skincare services, that’s always the bottom line for us. We’ve had wellness patients who were in wheelchairs WALK straight into our office after a few months of treatment, with a big smile on their faces. It’s hard to put that feeling into words, but it’s the best kind of joy.
