Check Out Heidi Lifrage’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Heidi Lifrage.

Hi Heidi, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
First of all, I want to thank you for featuring my work and business on your platform. Over 20 years ago I moved out of the country and started taking painting lessons. I loved it from the very beginning. Through the following years, I attended as many workshops and classes as my time away from my family would allow. It is a never-ending process and there is always something new to learn. I started painting my children and as my family grew I painted for other clients as well.

In 2011 I started a business teaching elementary-age students painting and drawing. 150 students and 10 years later I still love my time with my kids. During the pandemic, things were on hold but so excited to start strong this year.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have loved my business because it has grown slowly and organically. This past year was hard because I did not know what the future would hold but I am so excited to say this coming year is starting stronger than ever.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in oils and  love painting special memories for my clients . I enjoy painting from photographs of their weddings milestones homes and children. I paint in oils and I love painting memories for my clients. I love painting special photos they have of weddings homes and their children. My style in impressionistic and figurative work is my favorite.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
When the pandemic hit I had to pivot to online classes and small classes. I turned my studio into a classroom and loved having the students here. I also had the time to paint every day and loved being able to experiment with different subjects and colors. It has been an amazing growing experience for sure
