Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephen Ivey.
Hi Stephen, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I was born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana where I was at it for 27 years. During that time, I had the honor of serving various churches as a volunteer which gave me invaluable experience in Production & Media.
In 2011, I was invited (along with my brother) to join the staff of a large local church here in Orlando with connections to other ministries all around the world. While serving on staff, we encountered several different ministries and organizations that desired and needed high-quality media content but didn’t necessarily have the budget to hire a full-time staff member. After 2 years of seeing this need, my brother was inspired to create our company, Ivey Media Group, LLC to provide a solution to this problem.
Since then, our company has grown from just serving churches to servicing various clients of all kinds and from all around the world. We are so grateful for what we’ve been able to accomplish and even more excited about the future!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Every great story certainly comes with a few roadblocks along the way. If you are an entrepreneur, you know that the pressure is a little bit different when you understand that you’re responsible for every dollar you make! Our business began with a boom, but inevitably, things slow down and you have to learn how to pace during those slow months. It became very difficult for a little while, but teamwork and perseverance helped us endure that season and gain wisdom to help us in the next.
The key is to never give up and spend more time thinking about solutions than worrying about the problems.

Ivey Media Group specializes in graphic/web design, logo branding, marketing, videography, and virtual tours.
Our slogan, “Smart. Clean. Engaging. “, really speaks the most accurately about our work! We love to create content that’s catchy but not distracting. We believe that your message or product is the most important thing and our goal is to remove any obstacles that would get in the way of that.
One thing that sets us apart is that we really listen to our customers. We love to fully understand their vision with clarity so that we can give them a product that they are proud of and that will take them into the foreseeable future.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The media space is becoming even more interactive and virtual. Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see an increase in the use of virtual and augmented realities and their integration into our daily lives.
