Hi Maria Cristina, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Cooking and making desserts was just a hobby for my mother. As I got older, it interested me to get in the kitchen with her and give her ideas. I developed such a passion for the baking industry because every time I would make someone a dessert it really made them happy and it was truly delicious. It started with just baking for the family to baking for the community, this is now my full-time job and had such an amazing outcome that I had to hire help! I am praying that in the future, I will be able to hire more help and buy my own kitchen to keep making these delicious desserts for our community. We hope that in the future, we will be able to ship out of state. We have over 2,000 followers on our Facebook business page.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
At first, it feels like there was no one going to buy our products but you have to kind of build yourself up and believe in yourself and your work, gain followers and buyers was a little struggling, but then overnight our famous brunch box went viral and it was shared over 5,000 times. With that, I gained many consumers, That was also a struggle because I was not ready for the amount of orders I received it can quickly become more stressful than joyful, but with the support of my mom and my newly hired help, I was able to succeed that milestone. We still have a lot of goals and dreams to reach but it is not impossible.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about D’Rose Sucre LLC.?
Our business is mainly home-based at the moment. We make sure to bake everything the very same day that the consumer is receiving the product, Making sure our home is up to FDA standards, washing our products if needed and making sure our customers are satisfied with the product they receive, The pictures we post online are exactly what the customer receives. We are most proud of our communication with the customer and making sure their wants are heard and produced. We offer a variety of home-baked goods, flower & strawberry arrangements, our famous brunch box which includes brownies with Nutella topping, Cheesecake, Chocolate covered strawberries, salami or no salami for our vegans/vegetarians- croissants, Cheesecake shooters, Tres Leche, Orange Juice & Starbucks Coffee. This box is standard and can be personalized by adding from our – Add on- menu or removing and substituting products the consumer does not want; we also add a short personalized message on the box for birthdays or special occasions. We are planning to attend different farmer’s market around central Florida. We also offer delivery for Orlando | Lake Nona | St. Cloud | Kissimmee.
