Today we’d like to introduce you to Darivett Concepcion and Valerie Ramos.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
What lead us to create TALK Jewelry was our children. Motherhood has always been the top of our priorities as two SAHM but at times, we tend to lose our identity on the things we used to love or enjoy doing. TALK Jewelry came about from having a conversation and creating something we both are passionate and love together!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some obstacles along the way were definitely finding the right companies with the kind of top quality we wanted to provide to our customers. We wanted to keep our cost low but still provide in-trend pieces with quality in mind.

Here at TALK Jewelry, we believe we’re family. We believe friendships are one of the best parts of life, that is how we; two best friends combined ideas and created TALK Jewelry. We strive to work as a team and hope to build lifelong friendships with our customers!
We are two Latina mamas on a mission to get everyone talking jewelry with us and strive to provide in trend pieces with quality always in mind! All of our products are made from a genuine layer of gold permanently bonded onto quality base metal that will last with care. We believe you don’t have to pay top dollar for in trend pieces.
We are a team of just T W O here with the help of our lovely husbands who also work their own 9-5. It takes a village to raise a child but it also takes a village to build a business. We are so thankful for our tiny village!
We stand behind individuality because Nothing is prettier than being yourself! Which is why we source jewelry pieces that will always make you remember who you are. Uniqueness is kind of our thing. Our pieces are all full of possibilities that will enhance your life, mental state, and appearance. We just want YOU to love yourself!
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Darivett: I think our best childhood memory together would have to be having every single first job together. Haha
Valerie and I have been best friends since high school. We met during the summertime before school started and just stuck with each other. We’ve worked every job together up until we gave birth to both our firstborns which were born on the same day! We are conjoined twins in all aspects, haha.
But separately for myself, I’d have to say traveling and always being on the road with my parents. They took us everywhere and I’ve taken that on to do the same with my children.
Valerie: For me every year going to the fair with my family. Riding the rides and eating funnel cakes and candy apples! I’ve also carried that on and take my children every year.
