Hi Brianna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur and business owner, I was a Student Affairs Practitioner working at different colleges and universities throughout the east coast. I found my passion and gift in the career service space after completing my own job search while in graduate school. After graduating with my Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration, landing a high-paying role with an attractive job title, I began helping my peers with their job search by sharing my job search resources, editing or critiquing their resumes, and preparing them to ace their interviews. I noticed my peers succeeding in their job search as they would share their excitement with me and thank me for the guidance and support. I am slightly a perfectionist and I also had some free time after work, so I went on to further develop my skills in resume writing due to the demand of people seeking my career advice or guidance. I did not feel perfectly qualified to service others in a great capacity at the time, so I continued my education informally through LinkedIn training and professional development workshops or conferences at work. Since then, I have been operating a full-time career and business consulting company.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, I wouldn’t say that the road has been smooth. There is always something to learn and there are always obstacles to overcome. I guess some of my struggles would include imposter syndrome, self-doubt, laziness (sometimes), slow income periods, and lack of focus. There is always a task to complete while you are building a business to run its self eventually. The work can become overwhelming but as long as you are dedicated to your business, set goals, and continue working, you will be successful. Oh yeah! I also really struggle with managing and doing everything myself including creating compelling content, marketing consistently online, and still working IN the business. That is one of my biggest challenges right now. I am definitely manifesting a dream team to increase my overall business goals.

Brianna Watts Consulting and Services is currently a career and business consulting company with specialization in resume writing, cover letter writing, interview preparation, LinkedIn profile optimization, and career education workshops. On the business side, my most requested service is business start-up support.
I believe what sets me is apart from others is my determination to see my clients succeed and ensuring my customers receive a return on their investment with me. I will work with them all the way through the end of their job search ensuring they are completely satisfied and happy! My client’s success truly keeps me going so I need to make sure they are or I feel like a failure. lol
I am extremely proud of the work that I do. I have been able to positively impact the live of hundreds of career professionals in a variety of ways. I have aided clients in completely enhancing their lives by assisting them in landing 6-figure salaries, move states for new opportunities, receive promotions, pivot careers seamlessly, increase their salaries between $7,ooo-$60,000, land roles with Fortune 100 and 500 companies, become home owners with their new roles, and enter higher tax brackets.
