Hi Bria, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my journey back in 2020, I’ve always been a fan of cosmetology and makeup as a baby. I once told my mom that I was going to grow up and be one. After my grandmother died in 2019, it pushed me to start my own business and do what I actually loved. After graduating from Bethune Cookman University and completing my master’s at Rollins college, I thought it was time to actually do what I loved. I started this business with no start-up money, just my paycheck from my full-time job. We all know how makeup can be very expensive. I started practicing on my family members and friends. Till I grew the Courage to take in real clients. From there on out, my business took off with the help of God on my side. Within the first year, I got booked for three weddings and my clientele started to build. I received an offer to be one of the Makeup artists in a short film with a producer from Orlando, FL! With the support From one of my Best friend, Boyfriend, and family it all turned out to be more than what I ever expected. My business is called BeautiesByBria LLC. Located right here in central Florida. I do travel and many more. As of today, I do makeup for all types of events, shows, and everyday looks. I couldn’t be any more proud of myself of how far I’ve come to make this dream and business become one of the best and I will continue to keep gaining knowledge on my pathway to success in this industry.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
So far, it has been a smooth road. Only challenge thing about it is, working a full-time job and doing makeup full-time can be tiring. As seasons change money slows down which makes purchasing a struggle but I’ve learned to balance it all out.

My business is called BeautiesByBria LLC. I am located in Central Florida. I provide makeup services for all types of event shows movies in everyday events. I specialize in weddings, glam looks, natural looks, and some artistry. What sets me apart from other makeup artists is that I am capable of doing all types of makeup looks and even some artistry. The most thing I am proud of brand-wise that it started from nothing to something. Also, the timing of my brand, after covid happen everyone wanted to be back outside, which brought my business A lot of revenue. What I want my readers to know about my brand, offerings, services I provide excellent customer service, professionalism and more. You will leave my chair happy and expecting exactly what you were looking for. I am here at your service.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is having self-care day to myself. Reading a book working out swimming doing make up. Networking and learning new techniques
