Today we’d like to introduce you to Kennedy Kircher.
Kennedy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Beginning in January of 2021, I had many goals for the year. I wanted to get myself back in the gym as well as try and follow through with my passion of social media. I decided to combine the two and share the steps I was taking for my wellness routine in my newly created Instagram – @wellnesswithkenn. Over the months, I learned so many skills related to content creation, social media analytics and marketing your brand/business all while growing my mental and physical health.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think any new task in life is ever a smooth road, I have definitely had to tackle some struggles along the way. Social media content creators are often thought of as having it “easy.” I definitely felt this way until I became one. Combined with full-time college studying, being social in “real-life”, and trying to post and grow on my new Instagram daily, it can be a heavy load of work. I’ve had to take some steps back and take breaks because at times, I felt my mental health was at jeopardy. Social media can be amazingly positive and interactive but also has the downsides of negativity. Balancing these can get tough.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My Instagram is focused on mainly lifestyle and becoming your best self. I try to be as transparent as possible by showing all my tough times or insecurities. I also try and share the life lessons I’ve learned from hard times that many other people go through daily.
What’s next?
My plans for the future would to definitely keep growing this account and make as much of an impact as possible. I’d love to work within the social media realm forever whether it be for myself or for a big brand! I think when used correctly, social media can be a game-changer for businesses and individuals looking to share and gain qualities and opinions. I plan on finishing my four years of college and trying to enjoy life as it comes while following my passions!
