Today we’d like to introduce you to Jovanny and Jenybell Osorio.
Jovanny & Jenybell, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all started with a word that God gave us through a Minister, currently our spiritual father, our pastor… God confirmed that we came here to have prosperous companies and we were already selling dozens of Alcapurrias and hors d’oeuvres from our country, then we added lunches and we were delivering the lunches from our house…
We began to see that we were doing super well and we began to once a week, we went out to the streets to give food to the homeless…
When we started to bless the homeless, we were much more blessed and everything sped up…
At that moment, the pandemic that changed our lives and that of the world began, my wife and I lost our full-time jobs, our children studied full-time at home, we both worked at the airport, she at the hotel and I with an airline and we had to reinvent ourselves and build a food truck and invest The only thing we had saved in a project we called Flavors of Heaven.
Right now, we do a bit of everything with the food truck, we go wherever we are invited and we continue to undertake other businesses.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been very hard due to the lack of equality in the country but when you recognize that you are not alone, it is much easier; we are a family that arrived here with suitcases full of dreams that from the hand of our Dad my God everything has been fulfilled at the right time.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Well, our company is specialized in authentically Puerto Rican food, the most that distinguish us is with the love that we serve others and that we recognize that everything we have is by grace.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
That they do not give up that they fight for their dreams and that the only thing we must have is faith and act with precision and constant and make intelligent movements.
