Daily Inspiration: Meet Brittany Knight

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Knight.

Hi Brittany, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
At just 16, I became a teen mom. Defying all odds, I managed to graduate high school, become a licensed massage therapist, and eventually opened my own massage spa, which I ran for 3 years before selling. While running a successful online Etsy business, I reluctantly earned my real estate license, uncertain of how serious I wanted to take it. My first real estate sale ushered me into the world of real estate, and now, here I am, 4 years later mentoring new agents, hosting both a successful monthly business networking lunch and an e-course on how to do so, and selling 5 million plus in real estate. In 2020, I landed in the top 10% of the brokerage network and in 2021, I won the Best of the Best Realtor for Lake & Sumter.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been anything but a smooth road, from being the person needing to get food from a food bank to now being one who donates to food banks is a indescribable feeling, with the support of friends and family, and tons of determination, I have managed to work my way to where I am today.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Today, I mentor new agents, help families reach their home purchasing or selling goals, host a successful monthly business networking lunch in central Florida, offer an e-course on how to host business networking events, run a successful social media campaign, run an annual food drive called Spread the Love which brings in over 850 pounds of PB&J to my local food bank, and contribute to at least 10 charities annually through my networking lunches.

I’m most proud of my self-determination and phenomenal growth, giving back to my community, and showing my daughters that they, too, can accomplish anything that they make a priority in their lives.

What sets me apart is my sincere passion for real estate, my love for my job, and my personable relations with my clients.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My daughters Kameran (17) and Sophia (10) motivate me daily to be the best version of myself possible, my parents, best friends and family undoubtedly support my success, especially in the early years. Granddaddy taught me compassion, patience and to plan for my future. Michael and my broker Ginger have always been huge supporters and the best cheerleaders in my career and in the goals I set for myself. My older sister Lindsey is my backbone in supporting my growth both personally and in my career.
