Today we’d like to introduce you to Ciara Hamilton.
Hi Ciara, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started selling clothes when I was 15 because I wanted a job, but it was hard to find work at that age. I sold on apps on and off for a couple of years, not taking it seriously. After becoming pregnant with my second child at 20, through many many MANY trials and tribulations, I wanted to take my business more seriously. In July 2021, I registered my business name, created custom business cards, website, social medias, etc. and officially launched CiCi Couture Collection LLC. After four months in business, I was able to expand and get a storefront. After just a couple of weeks in the storefront, my business has had a great response from the locals and continues to grow everyday.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not! Balancing being a single mother, maintaining house bills, car bills and now store bills, modeling, personal issues and any inconveniences life may throw at me, Is far from easy. However, the outcome is so rewarding that it is worth the fight.

Cici Couture Collection is a clothing store that sells mens, womens and soon children’s clothing, shoes and accessories.
I feel what sets my brand apart is that I am able to adhere to my audience as I am already a part of the age group I cater to.

I started CiCi Couture Collection after a month long depression episode from a very traumatic event in my life. Starting CiCi Couture Collection saved me. I am proud of the growth of my business. I want to inspire other young women/mothers that you can still have greatness no matter what you go through and how hard it may be.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was very creative. I can also sing and I loved writing stories so I started writing songs when I was seven years old. One day I would like to pursue music as well.
