Today we’d like to introduce you to Noah Wilburn.
Noah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started in college, dropped out, worked four different jobs at the same time, realized I needed a plan, got involved in podcasting and very briefly tried to start my own “show”. The guy I worked with ended up doing his own thing, so I was lost again, realized after talking to my mentor I was able to start a media business easily, ended up getting a job offer in ATL. Went to the interview, killed it, but didn’t feel right so I came back. Started freelancing with a camera my mentor bought me, came to a crossroad middle of 2019 and realized I could do more for myself or do everything for others. Chose to do it for others, started my first agency (Accelerate Digital Agency) with my mentor and a close friend, didn’t work out, went back to freelancing, lost a big client because of covid. Started an official LLC called I Am Creative (the name derives from the bible). Hired videographers and created video commercials for different restaurants in my area, made the news, got attention, and started to build the business I currently hold today. We’re 13 months old, we specialize in video advertising and marketing strategy.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t, we went from doing everything and narrowed it down to one thing, running a business is all about numbers and I’m not good with numbers, so I had to learn how to get good. Combine that with people management (clients and contractors) and you got yourself a whole lotta bumps, lol.

We have a creative partnership program where we sign companies up to a 6-12 month program, the program means they have full access to our scope of services for a certain amount of hours per month. We become an extension of them essentially. Here’s the webs page for what I’m talking about.
What sets us apart from others is our honesty. We’ll give it to you straight no BS. A lot of times agencies will give you cookie-cutter templates that you pay thousands of dollars for and scam you, we don’t. There are times when we turn down business because we know that we can’t help them, and as a young business, we never want to turn down money, but we have to because we’re in it to genuinely help people, not just make a buck. Also, we pride ourselves in the fact that all and I mean ALL of our ideas and commercials are 100% custom, there’s no templates, there’s no cookie-cutter way we do things, we’re as real and raw as someone can get, because we have to and because we want to. I’m most proud of our team, we’ve had great people come in and work with us, we’re not perfect and we’re a young yet growing organization. We wouldn’t be here without the people that work with us. And again, I’m also proud of our core values and how steadfast we hold to them, no amount of money will cause us to turn our backs against them.
We offer video services, editing services, our CCA process (consult create advertise), and we offer consulting services (mostly free for now).
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Don’t confuse a mentor with a coach. It’s two different things, coaches cost a lot, mentors are the people you have a forever relationship with.
