Check Out Natalie-Loononna’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie-Loononna.

Hi Natalie-Loononna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started balloon decorating during a global pandemic. During quarantine like many others, I had lots of anxiety and I turned to TIC TOC, Instagram and YouTube where I watched tons of videos and I somehow came across balloon decorating. I was fascinated and drawn in instantly. I had zero experience with balloons so I decided to take a workshop with Bravest Balloons in Atlanta, GA and shortly after started creating balloon garlands.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
What I can say is, it has been an adventure. Being new to this industry of balloon decorating, every install was a first. Each one with its own set of challenges. This was a business that evolved from a hobby so I had no business plan. Some struggles were how to run a business, how to price each job, outdoor installs in Florida weather and marketing Loononna as a brand.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Balloon Decor- indoor/outdoor balloon installations.

Most proud of working with Buff City Soap, Flemings Steakhouse, Tapa Toro & Taverna Opa.

Not sure what sets me apart but I think my play on colors may set me apart from others.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Podcasts-Working, Radiolab, Duct Tape Marketing.
