Today we’d like to introduce you to Hansel Duran.
Hi Hansel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was introduced to real estate by a friend who was attending a real estate boot camp training and I couldn’t unsee the information that was presented to me. The skills that I’ve gained in marketing, working with people, and being persistent all aligned to a great value proposition for those looking to buy and sell real estate.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For the first couple years licensed, I held on to a part-time job but as of January 2020, I have been full-time-around the clock available for my clients. It’s the greatest decision I have made thus far.
Statistics from a report in 2020 by Realty Times show that the turnover rate for most realtors is 88%. Not to mention South Florida, is one of the toughest real estate markets in the United States. Being one of the few that last has given me a lot of experience that benefits my clients today.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up in South Florida I loved the outdoors. I’ve played a lot of sports but mainly stuck to baseball year-round from a young kid until the end of high school. After school and outside of sports I would wash cars and mow lawns which taught me a lot of values about hard work.
