Check Out Jonathan Weaver’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Weaver.

Hi Jonathan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My love of production and collaboration started around when I was age 9. Playing classical piano since age 5, I always wanted to play what was on the radio, then wanted to make my own songs. I’ve played music in church all my life and produced all my life.

It’s my canal of expression and I try my best to speak through the music and hopefully bring joy or a sense of peace to others.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Yes, the road has been smooth. There will always be bumps and turns on any road I suppose. The hardest thing for me has always been marketing and finding a real launch space for new music that isn’t 300k to upstart lol.

It’s a daily challenge to continue to work on music at the rate the world and technology are moving, but I find joy in that daily challenge it keeps me going. Thanks, Napster!!!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I write produce songs rap and play music. Any way I can make noise I do it. I love working with other artists and bringing their songs into reality. I’m proud of everything I’ve done.

The most recent success I’ve had is going platinum on Dababy’s album named “Kirk” by singing the chords of the track titled “Intro” and as always working with my favorite people around the world. Shout out to my band GW Souther.

How do you define success?
Success is unbothered peace.
