Today we’d like to introduce you to Timea Smiles.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up, theme parks were always a huge part of my life. We took road trips to FL every year to visit them! I fell in love with the magic and theming of the parks. My family eventually moved to FL and since we lived closer, we visited them MUCH more often. Not only are the parks such a fun time but that is where a lot of my most precious family memories lie.
Once in college, I was making enough money from my part-time jobs to pay for my own trips. Obviously, I went as much as my schedule could afford. I wanted to share all the pictures and videos of my memories with my peers and coworkers on Instagram, but I quickly realized that I was overwhelming them with content they didn’t want to see all day, every day.
I decided to start a second Instagram page solely for theme-park content, where I could share all of my fun memories, cool photo ops, and even fun facts. I slowly started to find other creators with similar interests, and we became friends. The community of theme-park-loving creators has to be the nicest group of people I’ve ever met. They are incredibly supportive, kind, and helpful. It had been a long time dream of mine to move to Orlando – if it wasn’t obvious yet!
All the stars aligned and I moved to Orlando a few weeks ago! I wanted to add to my Instagram page, by documenting the move and my life here in Orlando. Additionally, since it’s hard to find time to keep in touch with everyone, I wanted a way to keep my friends updated on my fun adventures. So, I started a YouTube channel! It may be small but it sure is mighty!
I also found my love of videography and editing through starting this channel and I couldn’t be more grateful. I hope to entertain and inform my friends and community of all the fun things to do in Orlando! I plan to continue my Instagram page and hope to make many more friends along the way!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As with many dreams, they don’t come easy. However, as long as you believe in yourself and stay confident, you can accomplish your goals! I worked hard and never gave up to get to live here in Orlando and you won’t see me giving up anytime soon!
I know, I know… it sounds cliche, but hey! It’s worked for me so far! Now, don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t all easy. I definitely had times when the number of likes and engagement rates got to me. I was even unmotivated for a while and just stopped trying. It definitely took a lot of work to get to the mindset I am at today.
But I’m proud of where I am now and I don’t obsess over my numbers anymore. I focus on the content I make and hope that it puts a smile on people’s faces!

I am a Content Creator/Youtuber! My content mainly consists of theme parks, food reviews, fun adventures & day-to-day life. I am so proud of how far I’ve come in such a short amount of time. However, I’d have to say I’m most proud of the friends I’ve made throughout this journey.
It feels good when I am able to help someone with a review, give them tips for their vacations, make them laugh, etc. I pride myself on being real on my Instagram and YouTube pages. At the end of the day, all I want is for my small part of the internet to feel fun, easy, comfortable and a place people can go to, to have a laugh. I always tell my community that my DMs are open if they ever need to talk because sometimes you just need to vent to someone.
Having worked with photography for quite a while now, I’ve become very familiar with editing. I noticed people were struggling with their filters and were unsure of how to create their own presets. Understandably, it can be overwhelming. I created eight individual presets and am now selling them on Etsy to offer an easy way to create an aesthetic feed, or to use as a strong foundation!
I also know that not everyone has the same creative taste, so I am selling custom presets. I work with my clients until I know for a fact that they are 100% satisfied with their preset! It’s definitely a unique experience because no one in the world has the same preset as them, and it is completely catered to their pictures and style.
