Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike Kowalski.
Hi Mike, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m from Poland and I’m 34. For most of my life, I worked in one company and I had a simple routine every day. After 14 years in an international corporation, I decided to change my life. Always I liked the activity but I didn’t do anything because of work and lack of motivation.
But after a few trips and visiting very nice places, I realized that I’m not happy and I need different life. I started workouts and step by step changing my lifestyle. I was leaving in different cities in Poland, different countries in the world, Poland, Egypt, the Czech Republic, now the USA. I met a lot of people and I learned that all of us are different and the same at the one time. I appreciated the diversity and I noticed various problems.
Now I’m focused on myself, my happiness, and my future as a fitness personal trainer. I’m trying to help people to find new ways for them, find solutions to fix bad habits. Clean their mental and physical health. Now is a very busy time for everyone and is easy to forget about ourselves. It’s good to have support and I would like to be this kind of support for others.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Changing your habits and lifestyle is never the easy way. it’s a huge work, self-discipline, and austerities. To overcome your former self is definitely an obstacle.
To become a good personal trainer, I went to the fitness school, and learning subjects about the human body in a different language than my native was very difficult also. But I did it, I try my best and I see the results.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m at the beginning of my professional career. I just opened my business and I catch first clients. I offer personal and group training.
I work with adults, seniors, kids, and special populations also.
My style does not just exercise. I tried to talk with others and realize to them that the body is strongly connected with the brain and mental shape. Everything starts in the head.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Mental and physical health. Mine and others people. change the habits, care about inside needs and environment around us. Performance and development of ourselves also.
