Today we’d like to introduce you to Francineth Morones.

Hi Francineth, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Francineth Morones, a Florida-licensed paramedic Esthetician and owner of the Minika Skin Care Institute. Twenty-one years ago, when I was becoming an adult, I came to this country eager to go ahead, to materialize the dreams I brought from my country. I came with the certainty that my dreams were going to materializer in a short time because I have always considered myself an undertaker woman and without fears to achieve what I propose. My surprise was when I arrived, I face the reality of many immigrants; I came up with limitations like language, I couldn’t work legally, and that stopped the materialization of my dreams for almost 18 years. Four years ago, I finally became an American resident and started studying in 2017 to get my license as an Esthetician. When I was in school, I was more in love with this profession and another dream that I added to my list was to have a school and form new professionals who applied like me for this beautiful profession. Within my goals after being a legal resident and now a citizen, I was able to work hard and try to recuperate the lost time, and that’s how I didn’t stop and start my business in my living room, making attractive discounts, offering good service to make myself known and for people to fall in love with my work., everything started to happen… people started recommending me to their friends, and my business was growing faster than I expected.

In six months, I already had my place where new people kept coming as referrals of my patients, through social networks, where they feel confident to go with us. . Almost three years ago I have my spa and school which has also allowed me to travel to different countries and cities within and outside of USA teaching classes and training new professionals. In addition, I took other specializations such as plasma fibroblast, hyaluron pen, keratin eyelashes, led light, microneedle and bb-glow and artist specialist in different institutes and cities like Colombia, USA, and Spain. It has been almost three years since I opened my own spa that makes me fall in every day more with my profession.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
