Exploring Life & Business with Desha Gamble of DaeDreamsCo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Desha Gamble.

Hi Desha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Skin care is personal to me… Since I was a baby I’ve had skin problems (mild to extreme eczema), and all through my life it was a struggle. I also saw family members and friends suffer from the same condition and other skin problems. Like any girl I want clear and healthy skin I wanted to feel beautiful. I started to wear makeup and I shadowed makeup artists and also taught myself how to apply and cover up my skin….But it was just that a coverup and noticed that it wasn’t making it any better. I wanted to keep my skin clear, healthy, and beautiful all the time.

Working at a call center and serving I was becoming exhausted of the daily routine, So I decided I wanted to do more. I started doing research on skin careers and next thing you know I’m enrolled in the esthetics program a week later. I studied, researched, and found the perfect private label to grow my herbs and provided natural ingredients and next thing you know Dae Dreams become reality! I graduated as an Esthetician and later became a certified medical esthetician in my hometown Greenville, South Carolina. Now I can help people like me and bless them with knowledge on how to maintain their beautiful, healthy, and natural skin. This is just not a product for me it’s personal it’s my gift to share to the world. Literally my goal is to live somewhere every year or two to spread the love and learn more.

I got to where I am because of my clients/customers..I have customers nationwide and international I would’ve never imagined. With my super supportive village especially my huge family … my parents and my big sister that planted faith, love, passion, hustle, determination, never to give up, and the trust in God in me I can say I have a bigger and brighter future in the skin care industry and I’m ready for what’s to come my way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been easy especially starting out at the peak of the pandemic and being a new licensed esthetician taking state boards. It was so hard to get supplies, bottles, labels printed and the post office… haha forget about it. Although running a business is a lot behind the scenes I appreciate the bumps it makes you work harder and when it is for what you love it make it worth it in the end.

As you know, we’re big fans of DaeDreamsCo. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
DaeDreamsCo is a natural simple ingredient skincare line specifically made for sensitive skin for each skin type. What’s sets DaeDreams aside is that it is an esthetician formulated line without the harsh chemicals and ingredients that you can’t pronounce. While getting an award for best skincare line in the upstate of South Carolina I got a lot of love for my cleansers and facial oil the glow is real! I love that there’s one for each need as in dry, oily, or combo. The difference is that I understand, I was once there lost and frustrated and my only hope is to help. I specialize in skin care, as an esthetician it is my goal for everyone to achieve their skin dreams. If anything people’s trust in my line is the most awarding. While offering products it doesn’t stop there I also offer facial services from dermaplaning to microneedling while using my products or if you want the medical side come see me at bliss med spa!

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Music… Music is my therapy and escape from the world. Dealing with anxiety I overthink constantly and music literally can stop it so that I can focus on my work and passion without procrastinating.
