Today we’d like to introduce you to Laurent Santana. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Laurent Santana O, is a Colombian woman who came to the United States of America at the age of 12 years old, without any knowledge of English. But with a suitcase full of dreams to fulfill.
Laurent comes from a family dynasty of journalists in radio, television and print media. During her early years, Laurent embarked on her professional career, working for one of her father’s companies, starting her first job in the cleaning department.
As the years passed, Laurent gained more knowledge, and that is how she grew within the company, going through different positions, such as cashier, door-to-door salesperson, public relations representative.
Later she began her studies in Marketing and advertising, and came to occupy the position of Marketing Director. Laurent worked as a journalist for 4 years, and she had the opportunity to participate in various political campaigns in the graphic design and advertising department.
At the age of 23, Ms. Santana opened her first marketing, events and commercial printing company. She was able to acquire more experience and many successes, which lead her to develop many indoor and outdoor events and became an expert as a logistic event planner.
From a very young age, Ms. Santana has had a great passion for serving the community, a passion that she inherited from her paternal grandmother. since the two did volunteer time for different non-profit associations, for the elderly and people with disabilities such as people who have lost their sight.
This passion for serving the community leads her to study different languages, becoming a Certified Spanish Interpreter. Ms. Santana worked doing, consecutively, and simultaneously interpretation for, the court, 911-immigration, the medical field and others.
Let’s remember that Laurent came to the United States without any knowledge of English, and she suffered a lot of bullying at school, for not understanding the language. That is why Ms. Santana wrote her first book entitled (Ingles sin miedo) “English Without Fear- The book” to help LEP’S (Limited English Proficiency) LEP is a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English language, often because it is not their native language.
The book was created to provide the community with the opportunity that she never had to learn English in a way that is easy and fast. The book is written in 3 parts. spelling in English, translation in Spanish and exact pronunciation in English.
Laurent Santana has been recognized and has received different awards such as an executive woman of the year, 45 different academic certifications, a proclamation of recognition granted by the city of Kissimmee FL and recognition in the Hispanic Heritage month by the United States Senate.
But for Laurent Santana, not everything has been easy. That is why for Summer of 2024 the first book will be published in Spanish and English, with the best advice, methods to overcome and get up from infidelity, bankruptcy and how to stop being a victim of domestic violence, and how to become a survivor of Domestic Violence and not just another statistic in history.
Laurent Santana survived what she describes as her worst nightmare. she lived through poverty, loneliness, emotional and physical abuse and much more. which she will tell about in her next book. She will make it public because one of her life missions is to help millions of people specially women, worldwide to rebuild themselves and come back stronger after being destroyed.
Laurent Santana is an example that if you lose everything today and have to start from scratch tomorrow, it’s possible with Faith, discipline, and tenacity. It is for this reason that Laurent decides not to continue her studies to become a lawyer, and in 2014, she makes the decision to enter the world of real estate.
Laurent’s focus is to help many families obtain their home, continue working with investors, and entrepreneurs, because investing in real estate is one of the best investments to create wealth. Laurent Santana is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Florida, proudly working side by side with wonderful colleagues, who together help each other grow, have the opportunity to work with top producers and be part of 10x Ladies a community of enterprising, intelligent women who help each other create empires. Laurent Santana is very active in the community working with different non profit associations. She is currently the CEO of The American Interpretation & Translation Company, English without fear publishing, Ciano a national marketing law firm and Tampa, Orlando, Miami Prime Media Co.
At the time of this interview, Miss Santana and her staff are working daily on new projects. such as the international program “Learn Spanish without fear” and the creation of her first international non-profit foundation, to help women and children worldwide.
