Today we’d like to introduce you to Alonso Jr.
Please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Alonso Jr. It was inspired by the many times that my father performed magic on me and my family, this became a feeling in me of wanting to discover the secrets of magic and make effects that can be achieved thanks to illusionism.
From that moment, more than 15 years ago, where I observed that, from the manipulation of elements of reality, an image from the impossible to the magical can be built, illusionism, became an important part of my life, allowing me at each family gathering and sharing with friends, the ability to distract and encourage with a special touch of joy and fun, making them live magical moments.
It was in 2012 under my own experience and professional training received in Venezuela I have dedicated myself every day to learn and developing a unique personality in each of my presentations, combining amazement, mystery, comedy and joy, which allowed me to start and make myself known in this fabulous world of magic.
Thanks to the fact that each show is different, and adapts to the type of public that attends it at all times, I have managed to grow every day as an artist and learn from each one of my spectators, being able to make public and private presentations, for various establishments, providing entertainment in different evenings, parties and business events.
Since then I have not stopped training myself by attending international conferences and sharing experiences with various magicians.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Emigrating was a challenge, leaving my country behind and starting to do shows in another language and culture has been quite a challenge, my first years in this country I couldn’t dedicate myself to doing magic as I would have liked, because nobody knew me, and I had to working in different jobs far from magic, however, this great country opened its doors to me and I had to start putting together new routines, new effects to make myself known.

Make magic presentations for adults and children, and corporate companies in public and private events, making them live magical moments with a touch of joy and fun.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
That they never stop believing in themselves, that with effort, work and above all patience dreams can come true.
