Today we’d like to introduce you to Jimmy Gomes.
Hi Jimmy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
With a passion for health and wellness, the 9-5 corporate life was a secure way to build knowledge and understanding of human growth but the pursuit of growth will always come at a price.
Quickly realizing the value of time and efforts falling short I knew in order to give more of myself I had to become more.
A trip to visit my mom in Jersey led me to brainstorm, I had followed some YouTubers at the time and saw the freedom it came with just sharing your story and mission. I wanted to experience those moments.
I knew the only way was through a product that people with the same mindset and values could resonate with. A Brand that would remind others of what it took to become the person necessary for their goals.
One word, Elevate. The expression of the brand that would lead an individual to become the most elevated version of themselves.
Minimalist yet expressive with intention behind what we produced, that was the goal. ELEV was created with the classic crest logo signifying growth in every area of the journey.
Then the real work began trials, errors, failures. Moments of frustration to a point of almost quitting, all lead to becoming an individual that saw what makes anything grow is simple human connection with a quality product.
That’s what we strive for now is building connection and community while providing a quality product that people can feel good and perform better. In life, we’re all going to go through trials and tribulations but it’s never the outcome that brings results it’s the person we became in the process that will ELEVate the culture.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Struggles included building a mission and vision for the brand, finding quality manufacture to produce the vision and quality we set out for.
Once finalized the next struggle was building brand awareness and demand for the product in an online space & in person.
learning to web design and be a creative with sales psychology was yet another hat we had to take on as well,
You see as a small business when starting out you as the owner have to play multiple hats to learn the systems, become the person necessary to lead others, and delicate the tasks in the future to make things run smoother.

ELEV Fitness is an intentional pursuit of Growth in every way every day. Being reminded of what it takes to be 1% better than yesterday.
