Conversations with David Hill

Today we’d like to introduce you to David Hill.

Hi David, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story started literally from birth, I was born hearing the heartbeat of music, and it’s pretty much all I’ve known ever since. I have an extremely super gifted and musically inclined family. I remember as a kid going everywhere with my dad from rehearsals to gigs to meetings the whole 9. It was amazing, he taught me so much and continues to. I was raised in Miami and always felt called to the Orlando area so a couple year ago I picked up and moved and it was the best decision ever. I’ve met so many powerful people, made great connections, had exceptional opportunities to work with amazing people, and travel the world doing what God created me to do.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not been all smooth but I’ve learned that’s all a part of the process. Everything that’s taken place, from losing a gig, or missing an opportunity has totally changed my life and shaped my perspective for the better. Everything happens for a reason and I’m using everything that’s taken place to build up my confidence and walk through this journey strong! The challenges have helped me and molded me into a better and bolder creative.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Sweet! So, I am a Musician, Mentor, and Entrepreneur. I specialize in live performances, studio sessions, mentorship. I’m known for my musical skills: Drums, Music Production. I’m most proud of my desire to be different and stand out, the opportunities I’ve had, are working on and helping others grow in their talents and be a testimony that if I can do it and be successful you can to, as long as you put your mind to it. Being extremely multi-faceted, having a huge vision and my personality set me apart.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Playing drums in church.
