Today we’d like to introduce you to Chera Miller.
Hi Chera, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born in the D.C. – Maryland area and was raised there until I left for Hampton University at 18. However, life took a turn and I ended up married with two children who are now young ladies. I divorced at age 32, went back to school to achieve my personal goal of earning a degree, and finally succeeded at doing so at the age of 40. In May of 2020, I acquired two degrees in Business Information Management and Accounting. I started my career in property management at age 22 and I did that for 18 years until transitioning over into doing real estate full time.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not smooth. It took me 8 years to acquire two degrees, working full time as a single parent. So you can image there was definitely struggle. But I am so thankful for those struggles because they helped to mold me into the person I am today. I learned so much during that time and I do not regret a thing.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Chera Miller, Realtor?
Currently, my career is in real estate working as a sales associate. However, I have plans to develop my business into a consulting firm, as well as, becoming owners to several investment properties. I also and a full time content creator, promoting my business and myself on platforms such as Instagram and YouTube. My specialty is my value proposition. I’m a huge advocate for growth and so each person that I work with, it is my hope that they learn and grow in some way whether it’s buying or selling a home, a business partner, or the educational/inspirational content that I share. It’s never too late to up-level your life. That is a message that I hope people take away from our experience together.
Any big plans?
For the first two years, my plan is growth. Growing my clientele, building relationships, and to have my business running like a well-oiled machine.
As I mentioned, I plan to build an investment portfolio of properties, and eventually, agency will phase out.
Ultimately, I would like to also have a digital product-based business as well.
