Conversations with Divad Brady

Today we’d like to introduce you to Divad Brady.

Hi Divad, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always had an interest in drawing, art, and creativity. As a child, I would draw everything as I taught myself and mimicked famous artists until I branched off and developed my own style. My artistic journey really took off when I jumped into the scene of street art and graffiti. It was an incredible vibe I felt displaying my art on a blank canvas for all the world to see! I had a wonderful mentor, though he was younger he was experienced in things that I wasn’t exposed to. That’s when I was introduced to graphic design. I worked for numerous companies, but still, I wasn’t able to produce my own art in the way I imagined. I always had a different eye for fashion and street apparel, so I merged fashion with art and created my business “Dafreshlab Apparel” and clothing line “Drippy Unltd”. It’s been a journey, but with honesty and quality, previous customers have recommended and continued to use my services. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my journey with you as much as I enjoyed sharing it.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has always been a rocky road, nothing goes as planned, and there are numerous struggles too great to number. The important thing is you have to learn to adapt to changes and obstacles and continue to push forward.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in graphic design and known for my stylish graphic logos, but I also produce business cards, brochures, flyers, websites, T-Shirt Graphics, Custom Shoe art, Murals, and vinyl wrap. I am very proud of my journey into custom shoe art, it has taught me to expand my creativity and embrace mistakes. What set me apart from others is my willingness to take on any job and my integrity, which I feel a lot of other businesses lack

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Being honest is the most important not just to the customer but to yourself.
