Today we’d like to introduce you to Dianne Richard.
Hi Dianne, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I moved to the United States at the age of 19 years from my home country St Lucia, located in the Caribbean. I soon got married and had two kids. My husband then joined the military and we spent the last 8 years moving from state to state. Florida has always been a home to me, it was the very first state I lived in and had my two wonderful children. I started my journey as an entrepreneur by owning a few online stores both here in the United States and in my home country. I made the decision last year to increase my entrepreneurial resume by embarking on a Real Estate License. I must say, this was one of the best decisions I have made. I have met some like-minded individuals from different backgrounds.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life has not always been fair and I have had to overcome many trials. First the passing on my father at only 19 years, also the passing of my brother two years ago, and the latest, the passing of my mother in January of this year. My kids are young and for that reason, I placed my goals on hold and it was a great challenge learning to put myself first and work on my ambitions and goals as well as supporting the kids and my husband.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My business includes my real estate experiences and expertise and notary services. What sets me apart is that I able to not only assist with real estate transactions but clients and possibly their referrals can reach out for their notary needs. I am proud of achieving these entrepreneurship goals I have set for myself. As a notary I can assist with the following: administer oaths, take acknowledgments of deeds and other instruments, attest to or certify photocopies of certain documents, and perform other duties specified by law. I advise clients about market conditions, conduct walkthroughs, and provide guidance and assistance through the process of buying, selling, or leasing properties. I would love for readers to learn that I always strive for providing real and honest services as a REALTOR®.
