Today we’d like to introduce you to Fabricio Schmidt.
Hi Fabricio, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born in Brazil and after earning a degree in Business Administration I went to Europe to spend 6 months traveling around 6 countries. In 2013, I moved to the U.S. where he had the opportunity to study design at the Milwaukee Area Technical College in Wisconsin. For which I graduated with Honors on Interior Design degree.
“I has always searched for something special in his life, I found his passion in Interior Design”.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes, for the most part, it has been a smooth road. Although, not so easy due the language barrier, when I arrived here in the U.S. I did not speak the language and had to learn from scratch.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am heavily skilled in Autocad, I can space planning the whole space of a project. Turning it to realistic renderings on Sketchup. Helping my clients to have a better view of the design. I am also fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
“My goal is not only to be able to design sustainable and attractive spaces for my clients but also to be able to inspire and motivate people by bringing my World-citizen-view of modern and elegant design”.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The Design industry is growing every year. The most fascinating on this career is to know that it will be always something new coming out. Making us to be tuned on the trends coming along of the way.
