Inspiring Conversations with Shane Burgman of The Burgman Group w/ Carpenter|Kessel @ Compass

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shane Burgman.

Hi Shane, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I spent 10 years in the U.S. Navy Submarine Force and ended up getting stationed on Florida’s Space Coast. I spent 4 years here Active Duty and decided to leave the military and start a new career; that is when I found Real Estate.

I purchased my first property while on Active Duty and loved the buying process, nuances, systems so much that I decided to get my RE license while still in the military. Upon separating in 2015, I pursued RE full time.

I have been an agent ever since and have remained in the top 1% in the nation, and top .01% in the county (top 50).

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Learning a new job is always challenging, but coming from a highly detailed and intricate position in the Navy, Real Estate came easy to me. I am very process-oriented, so RE works for me.
