Hi Grete, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my business Glow Fitness when Covid-19 shut down the world. I was trying to lose weight from having my second daughter Gameya and thought to myself why not share my knowledge with everyone else also who might be struggling with the world shutting down and gyms being closed. I have been a track and field athlete for 20 years of my life so working out has always been a part of my life but not necessarily working out without a gym. I started posting everyday workouts for people to do to stay in shape during the lockdown without needing any equipment and also made personalized workout programs for people to purchase if they wanted a more personable approach. From there I have grown to also selling glute bands and sweat belts to aid in shaping your body to exactly your wants and needs.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Starting Glow Fitness has been such a blessing in the middle of all the chaos that the world has been through in the last couple years.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am an online fitness trainer who provides women/moms/working moms/working women etc with at-home workouts that require no equipment and less than an hour a day. I am the most proud of the fact that Glow Fitness that has helped women become a better version of themselves.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Find someone who is where you want to go or has been where you want to go.
