Daily Inspiration: Meet Ranita Holland

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ranita Holland.

Ranita, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Once entering a new chapter in my life, starting my twenties and experiencing multitudes of events. I found it hard for myself to manage all that life had thrown at me. As an outlet to my depression, stress, and anxiety I called on the Lord to guide me into my purpose; to be still and know that he is God. During this time, I began a project, a project that acted as a reinforcement to my own mental health and one that will serve others. I created my New Self-Published interactive notebook titled “Be Still.” This interactive self-care book was created to foster the personal growth and development of young women working hard daily to become their version of “That Girl”. This trending phrase isn’t about achieving a certain aim, but continuously evolving. I have created this book as a safe place for young women to cultivate their own ideology of what being “That Girl” means to them. The simple step-by-step guides, how-to templates, and starters will help young women discover elements about themselves that assist with mental, physical, and health awareness. Not everyone has the time in their day to sit and journal and few know where to start. This interactive notebook is an efficient way to take time to yourself daily.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Originally, I wanted to work on a children’s book because of my love for children. At the time I was experiencing so much emotionally It was hard to focus. Instead during my brainstorming, I would end up journaling about my day or writing out pros and cons in order to help me make decisions. That’s when it hit me, what I was doing is something many individuals know they need but don’t know how/ where to start. From there I took what worked for me and mastered it into a well-developed craft.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As a current student, I am balancing perfecting all I want to accomplish. Few things that I do is work as a micro-influencer and encourage self-care, self-love, and self-help. I do this on my social media by providing interactive content and creating books like this one as a tangible source for those who find self-care of importance. I am known for reminding people near and far that in such a demanding world you must develop time for you. Finding time for you does not mean be selfish, nor does it mean there’s only one way to do it. Everyone is different and different is what makes everyone in the world stand out. Allowing people to embrace the best version of themselves makes me proud, fostering thinking that transforms individuals from thinking things can only be done one way sets me apart. After all 2+2=4… & So does 3+1, different methods same answer.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
