Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Nykole.
Hi Tyler, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
What sparked my interest in photography was always visiting my dad during the summertime in Hong Kong, Sweden, Germany, Greece, Italy, Serbia, and many other places. My dad also liked to take pictures of nature. He would always tell me to stand by a special landmark to take a picture of me. I was interested in becoming a forensics photographer. I then began to photograph high fashion portraits of people. I wanted to learn more about photography. I majored in Photography in college and received my B.S in May 2021.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an inexperienced photographer, I struggled with putting myself out there and being able to photograph different people. Another struggle for me was being creative, coming up with different poses for each person, and creating a story for each person.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am known for keeping everyone’s beauty true to themselves and coming up with creative ideas. What sets me apart from others is that I have visited a lot of places and seen different cultures that motivated me to be more creative and widen my imagination. I am inspired by thrifting different fashion styles to create a new fashion style. I specialize in fashion portraits, senior portraits, families, couples, and headshots. I am open to joining someone on a project and I am always seeking to find new ideas to shoot.
