Hi Marisella, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started up during quarantine in March of 2020. I was pregnant, bored, and didn’t know what else to do to pass the time besides joining TikTok. I decided to start taking part in some dance trends and then before I knew it my videos started to go viral. I began building an audience who enjoyed watching my pregnancy journey and it all started to grow from there.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes and no. With having a following you will always have people who try to bring you down. Overall, my following is very supportive and kind but occasionally you have people who dislike you and will try to throw hate your way. I don’t let it get to me and show that my page is about having fun and positivity.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I consider myself a social media influencer. Being an influencer is fun, it’s a great way to share your creativity with others. It’s kind of like my personal journal in video/photo form. I feel I am most proud of coming out of my shell and sharing my true self with the internet. I believe my content is a little bit of everything which would set me apart from others. Yes, I am a mom but that isn’t all my accounts are about. I love to share my friendships, dancing, and goofy side, with my family.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I wouldn’t be where I am now without my friends. My friends came on this journey with me. My best friend Maddie has been in almost every viral video I have had. Our first-ever viral video was 3 of us… Maddie, Katerina, and I. All my friends play a big role in supporting the content I put out and showing that they believe in me.
