Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristina Inciarte.
Hi Cristina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been interested in art and enrolled in art classes since childhood. After the start of the pandemic as a way of making myself feel better, I picked up painting again. I started working on digital applications because I loved how I could get the perfect color and didn’t have to sacrifice paint. I now focus on digital artwork and making fine art NFTs.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has been a fun journey and cool to meet fellow digital artists. However, there are both art appreciators and artists that aren’t as enthusiastic or understanding of digital art and NFTs. It can difficult to get others to appreciate how registering an artwork on the blockchain makes it easy for an artist to prove they are the creator of a work.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a digital abstract artist and NFT artist. As part of my process, I like to register or mint the artwork to the blockchain as a way of protecting its authenticity. I am proud to have exhibited in alongside many talented artists at this year’s ArteGenova art fair.
What do you think about luck?
I’ve always felt that it’s up to us as individuals to make choices that lead us to where we want to go. By always believing that I could make what I wanted happen I’ve been able to achieve my goals/dreams.
