Hidden Gems: Meet Alexia Yee of Ayee Interiors

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexia Yee.

Hi Alexia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Ayee started with a measuring tape and a ruler. As a young child, I had a desire to share my passion with others; it would fulfill me and bring me much joy to make the world around me as beautiful as I could. Ayee became a brand I knew I would put my all into and allow my client’s homes and spaces to reflect them, their ideas, and their interests in the most beautiful and functional way possible. The journey to design has not been easy there have been many learning curves and challenging moments, but the rewards are always Great! Creating environments with soul and meaning and being chosen to curate a safe haven for clients has been an incredible journey.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Although the road has not always been smooth it has definitely been rewarding; the most important factor behind my success has been motivation, consistency, and passion. Motivation is what makes me feel invincible and keeps me driving the business. Consistency is what keeps me focused and dedicated to my goals. Being consistent has not been an easy journey as it required long-term commitment, sustained efforts, sleepless nights, and a lot of discipline. To me, consistency is the difference between success and failure, and being consistent can catapult you to the next level where you live out your wildest dreams. For any entrepreneur out there who wants to achieve maximum success consistency is Key. Last but not least success has come from my passion for design. I believe that not everyone really gets what passion is. Passion is far from a hobby; its engrained in your body and soul. For me, when you are really happy doing something, and you do not think twice about it, that is something you are truly passionate about. When you have that level of obsession for something, you add hard work and devotion to that mixture, and Wallah you will never have to work a day in your life.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Ayee is an experience it is a brand that, unlike others, gives you a “feeling.” When we enter a home, we are more than designers we are artists, organizers, and supporters of your vision. I am most proud of the expansion of the brand and how much we have grown throughout the years. I am excited that our designs are surpassing our wildest dreams, and we are being given the chance to showcase the talent and originality Ayee brings to the table. Getting to where we are today was not by far an easy journey; it was all a learning experience. When I think of how I got here, I immediately want to say “It just happened,” but it didn’t. Where I am today is not the result of coincidence but rather Devine’s timing and well-earned raw hard work. It took many failures, Long hours, sleepless nights, and pushing myself to never give up to finally reach that “sweet spot.” I overcame many challenges by staying positive and always keeping my mind and heart wide open to new experiences and new ways of reaching the same goals. I obtained growth from new prospectives, and I had to open myself up to everything I am capable of achieving and forget the fear of failure, and from there, it was history. I want the world to know that Ayee empowers all clients to be bold, expressive, and free. I have always wanted my clients to know that you can still have luxury designs on Your budget its all about Quality.

How do you define success?
For me, success is about doing my job well. I want to be recognized as someone who always puts her heart into every project and does her best and tries her hardest to achieve the goal of clients. Success to me is measured by how many people you can touch with your work and your gift. Changing lives one design at a time determines my success.
