Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There’s no such thing as a smooth road in music. In general, I have no complaints about my career that’s spamming 25 years. This is a hard profession in general, but I think I made some good decisions, and it’s been a good career so far. In 2018 I decided to move from my country (Brazil) to the United States, and this was the greatest challenge so far.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’ve been a musician for 25 years, and more than 3000 shows with Fourteen records and three DVDs. As long as I specialized in American classics, I decided to move from my country to America to make justice to the music I was making for 25 years. Nowadays, I have a company that produces shows all over the country, and I’m doing around 60 events a year at least. I’m very proud it was accepted in the country where they invented the music I made.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The industry has changed a lot in the last 10 or 20 years, and that has a good side and a bad side. The good part is anybody can be a success overnight nowadays as long as you’re very competent and you know how to work your social network and if you find your target in the market, I mean you have to know who you are selling to. The bad part of this is that the music market turned itself into a notion of people doing the same thing because now you can technically say that the opportunities are almost the same for everybody. All you need is a lucky strike, get viral, and know how to administrate the outcomes.
