Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Parsons.
Amanda, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Small Business Babes started as a desire to connect with other female entrepreneurs and has grown into an international community.
Growing up, I was impacted by many small businesses and saw the way that they allow people to fully live their lives and how they are so engrained with the community. My first accounting job was actually part-time at a small business in Winter Park while I was a student at UCF!
Our mission is to build a community that offers accessible business education and support so women everywhere can build the business and life of their dreams. Taking care of sick family members, managing chronic pain, and spending time with loved ones are just a few huge benefits that women can experience as entrepreneurs. We aim to bridge the gap for the women who need entrepreneurship most.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
If it was easy, everyone would do it, right? That is what has been so amazing about this community. Without the support of our members, I honestly don’t know if we would have taken it to the level it is at today. We have so much hope for the future simply from the outpouring of encouragement from the members of our community.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Small Business Babes is a lifestyle brand committed to supporting female entrepreneurs. Business babes in our community can take advantage of free online trainings every month, participate in monthly markets, network at socials, and connect with female entrepreneurs globally. We even offer a completely free Facebook group! For women ready for additional support and guidance without a high cost, we offer a Collective membership for only about $1 per day. Collective members can access dozens of online training on-demand in addition to weekly mindset meetings, monthly masterminds, and more.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
