Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabby Brea and Tiffany Roopnarine.
Hi Gabby and Tiffany, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We are two besties (Tiffany and Gabby) that have always loved fashion. We always toyed around with the idea of opening up our own respective businesses. One night we were sitting around all of our friends during a game night and we just decided to go for it and buy our domain. Ever since then, we’ve hit the ground running and haven’t looked back!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road but we won’t say it has been the hardest either. Luckily, we both complement our strengths and weaknesses. Some of the struggles have been establishing our LLC, our Business License, and doing taxes. It’s definitely a confusing process and it was challenging to find information. It required a lot of research! However, we also find it so fun and exciting so that helps too!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Citrus Street Boutique is an online women’s boutique that aims to offer stylish and trendy clothing that adheres to all personality types and appeals to women living all over the country. We also aim to be body inclusive with all of our products being modeled by multiple different body types on our website. We’re most proud of the community we’ve already built around Citrus Street. Everyone has been so supportive and that means the world to us. It just shows how much we’re loved already and we haven’t even launched!
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
We see it booming with everyone continuing to support small businesses (especially online) after the pandemic. In addition, with so much new technology, we see a lot of increase in sales for online businesses!
