Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Andrea Flores part owner of Poke Mexican soul. There I am part owner, chef, entrepreneur, and spiritual life couch.
Why soul? I truly believe what you eat feeds your body of which allows for a healthy lifestyle, ultimately providing your body vital nutrients in order to achieve personal goals and dreams.
Poke Mexican Soul is one of my dreams, a beautiful restaurant where you truly know you are feeding your soul. On a personal note, less than a year ago, I made the decision to become healthier. I was fifty pounds overweight and wasn’t fully connected with the universe.
As a spiritual life coach, our mind is made up of different dimensions or states of consciousness where we are created to inhabit this earth, of which all of the vital nutrients derive from this planet; basically, all is here for us to consume…to feed our inner soul.
Unfortunately, we may also be programmed to eat unhealthily, and as a result, we lose an opportunity to truly communicate with our inner bodies. (Feed our soul)
Over the year, I became more in tune with the universe, of which I also further understood that what I consume not only allows me to live a healthier lifestyle, it also aligns my soul and spirit.
The universe will always give; however, if you don’t take care of what you have, the universe may take that away. My personal approach is to always be grateful for what you have, don’t primarily focus on the future; the key is to live in the present. So why not live to be as healthy as possible?
You know, life is beautiful, and we must learn to control our thoughts and reprogram bad habits like unhealthy eating. To me and for others, Poke Mexican Soul is symbolic of a healthy lifestyle, of which I am inspired every day to serve our community. We live in such a beautiful, diverse area, and I’m touched that I can help support so many kind and generous people
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My fiancé passed away. I did not speak English, and I didn’t know nobody here in Orlando.

I am selling now clean, fresh, healthy vegetarian and vegan food, also I am doing meal preps and personal trainer, and now focusing in my coffee business too.
