Today we’d like to introduce you to LaCandace McClendon.
Hi LaCandace, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is LaCandace McClendon I am 29 years old proud mother of 3 children. Since a little girl I’ve always loved to cook, I would sit and watch my mom and grandmother cook and ask tons of questions cooking is my passion and something I really enjoy doing. I currently started my own catering business called Delightful Eatz By LaCandace I offer catering for any event weddings, parties, baby showers etc .
Also i am currently serving soul food every Sunday located at 32805 S Orange Blossom Trail Orlando , Fl (inside of the gas station )my hours are 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm .
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely has not always been a smooth road some days are better than others I feel that consistency and determination is what has gotten me through. I am very goal driven as long as I keep my focus everything always falls in place.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in catering services; I take pride in my work and my customers I strive to give my customers the best experience. I put out top quality food and presentation is everything and I give 100% to make sure my customers are pleased and will be returning customers.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
The advice I would give is just to simply never give up keep God first in everything and put your best forward everyday even when you feel like nobody is watching or if you’re not getting the feedback you want at the moment always keep faith and stay dedicated.
