Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Miller.
Hi Amber, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I grew up loving to dress up and being characters from all the magical films I saw. At a very young age, I was taller than all my classmates, and that seemed to be the case even through high school. Because of being so tall, I was bullied which shot my confidence down completely. My mom put me in modeling, and I began to love it but not love what it did for my self-esteem when it came to losing weight constantly. I also fell in love with theatre and being different wonderful people on stage. Living out others’ stories was magic. Fast forward to college, and writing started becoming my main love. I published two poetry books by the time I graduated college. But something was missing. During the pandemic, the world came to a stop, and my creative soul was dying. So, I began to create Disney magic from home, and from there, the rest was history. I started Disney influencing and sharing my outfits and love for it. Now I not only do that, but I work full time as a PR for a government agency, best of both worlds, I guess.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Struggles I deal with now is finding the balance between work and influencing and trying to make sure I don’t burn out.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I find inspiration through books and stories about magical worlds and poetry. I love Lang Leav and Rupi Kaur, to name a few
