Community Highlights: Meet Viviana Pereira of RealSquare Media

Today we’d like to introduce you to Viviana Pereira.

Hi Viviana, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi, thanks for having me. I am Viviana Pereira, a mom to a 2-year-old, and a business owner.

I am originally from Venezuela. My husband and I got married in 2013 and 10 days after our wedding we left our country with big dreams and 2 suitcases. We lived for the following 2 years in Dublin – Ireland, where we were able to learn English, which was a big priority for both of us.

Skipping forward we moved to Orlando, FL in 2015 and have been here ever since then. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit, it is something I have had since I have memory (I used to sell candies at school with my sister, LOL), and I am also a people person, I LOVE helping people solve problems, meeting new people, meeting new cultures. That is why I choose a career in Sales. I am a Sales professional by trade, with more than 10 years in the IT industry.

My husband and I have always wanted to have a business where we get to complement each other talents and work together. We’ve TRIED several businesses and all of them failed. I am very proud to say that because of every failed business that we’ve had, has been a learning experience. So, don’t be afraid to fail, be afraid to not try.!

A little background about my husband, he is a musician and used to be a lawyer back in Venezuela. He is a very creative and artistic person, very detailed oriented and an incredible human being. We have always shared a passion for photography, we are self-taught photographers, and he is also a videographer.

Skipping forward to 2020 (in the middle of the pandemic) we became parents to our beautiful son Liam; he is the best thing that happened to us!.

As I had to return to my work, my husband stayed at home to take care of Liam, and after a few months, he decided to give it another try and pursue a new business focused on photography and videography, so in early 2021 we founded RealSquare Media.

We are a videography and photography business focused on helping Real Estate professionals, small business owners and entrepreneurs in general to elevate their brands. whether if it is real estate, branded content, or corporate videos; we got you covered!

As a couple, we complement each other talents to the business benefit. I am a sales and people person and I take that into the business. He is a creative soul and very strategist.

I am also the creator of Faces of a Mompreneur, an online community of Mompreneurs where I am on a mission to bring together moms who run their businesses while also raising a family, to support, connect, empower, and inspire others living the mompreneur life

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not, and that is something that people usually don’t get to see: what is behind the scenes.

As mentioned, we have failed several businesses already, where we’ve lost not only money but also passion for what we were doing. however, everything we have learned from these failed businesses we have been able to put into practice and to finally be in a place where we are proud of what we have accomplished but also passionate about it and excited to keep growing and helping people.

As you know, we’re big fans of RealSquare Media. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
RealSquare Media is a videography & photography business focused on helping Real Estate professionals, small business owners and entrepreneurs in general to elevate their brands.

What we do:

– Drone photography & videography

– Corporate Videos

– Real estate photography & videography

– and Personal branding and headshots

Being the last two our bread and butter!

What set us apart; is the combination of his artistic and creative personality and my focus on helping people and sales expertise.

And you might ask, how does it make you different?

Well, every time we start a new project or photoshoot, whether it is photography or videography, we make sure we create content that is not only artistically beautiful but also that will help our customers convert those images into sales.

For example, with our Personal Branding photography, I make sure to understand the message behind their brand, who is their ideal client, what they sell, and how they want people to SEE them and SEE their business. That connection with our clients makes it possible to create photos that can help elevate their brands but also help delivering their message, and ultimately help them sell more!

What were you like growing up?
I am the oldest of 3 siblings, I grew up in Venezuela, and what can I say, my parents, did an amazing job teaching us good values, how to be good people, and providing us with a great education.

I have always been a people person since very young, and very curious about other cultures and languages, and also very excited about learning (I love to learn and study things that I am passionate about). So, since very young I knew I wanted to live abroad, learn other languages, and do something where I get to work helping people.
