Hi Gilbert, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
The way I started my brand, it’s funny to think about it now. At first, it was just a thought. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do this or if I was bluffing. So in 2021, I heard a quote from the late great Kobe Bryant: “Once you know what failure feels like, determination chases success.” This was a quote that stuck with me. I wanted to make a brand, but I was scared of failure. So months passed, and my brand came to life, keeping balance. Every dream is obtainable stay focused and keep balanced.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The struggle is getting to know who my real audience is. I say this because you have down days/months, but you must keep going and pushing through every obstacle.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a fashion designer. I see myself as Kanye West, passionate about what he does, doesn’t care what people think of him, and is creative at what you do.
Networking and finding a mentor can positively impact one’s life and career. Any advice?
Don’t give up; some days will be better than others but stay focused.
