Hi Preston Ferguson, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My husband Andrew and I got married at the end of February 2020. With Covid shutdowns right around the corner, we weren’t able to go on a honeymoon and were both furloughed from work, so we decided to start making some crafts that we’ve always loved and created 2Bears1CraftTable. It started with some paper crafts like monogrammed letters and evolved into resin projects; we specialize in customized products.
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some of the crafts we produce have a learning curve, and doing our first craft shows was so nerve-wracking, not knowing if what we enjoy making would be enjoyable for others.

We are a small business of two, lgbtq+ owned. My husband and I began our business to keep occupied during a job layoff. We wanted to share the things we are passionate about making with others. We specialize in anything from paper crafts to resin to crochet work. We have even made a few man-eating plants and wall decor pieces. We love to work on custom pieces, but orders could be faster. That’s when we can return to making things we love for others.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some changes you expect to see over the next five to ten years?
Being small crafts businesses, we have to watch trends, primarily through social media. We are constantly watching for the following item or product style. We want to ensure that we can keep topical.
