Hi Angela, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. My family and I moved to the United States when I was 17 to finish high school, not knowing English. Through many years of studying, I achieved the American dream through hard work. I have learned a second language, become an American citizen, and graduated with a Master’s in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner. Now, I do what I love:
- Enhancing people’s beauty as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner—all while getting married.
- Purchasing our second home
- Raising our 2-year-old child
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I have had to work full-time while in school to achieve my desired dreams. When we moved here, we came with nothing.

My name is Angela Mariela Buxbaum. I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in aesthetic medicine. I specialize in Skincare; Botox ®, Jeuveau ®; Dermal fillers, Juvederm ®; Kybella®; Microneedling; and PRP. I work at LightTouch Med Spa Orlando. I am dedicated to the overall beauty and well-being of my clients. I believe in boosting people’s beauty to achieve natural results, which sets me apart from others. What sets me apart from others is how I blend being an expert in my field while listening to the client’s needs above all and recommending what is best for the client – not what is most profitable.
