Meet Elsa Jimenez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elsa Jimenez.

Hi Elsa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Thank you for the opportunity. My beginnings arose in the midst of the 2020 pandemic, I was in the process of creating new eating habits and one of my motivations was sportswear, managing to link it with an exercise routine. Which achieved good results knowing my body and especially my mind; however in this process, I realized that there are a variety of social patterns that seem to not fit in today’s society; I experienced frustration at not achieving the silhouette that many women believe we are Perfect, I was accompanied by a loss due to covid, I lost my older brother who was only 40 years old to this virus, I fell a lot but my children and my husband encouraged me to continue and that is where the idea of my brand ASKK STYLE was born. These acronyms feed my soul since they are the initials of each member of my home and I decided to show that we are all beautiful as long as you have the attitude, the discipline, and the desire to do what you set your mind to. So, with her I have shown a normal, spontaneous woman where I let all my imperfections show but always highlighting that self-love and harmony with the self is more important than any social pattern of a perfect woman, thus managing to reflect a woman who she is a mother, a wife and never stops being a woman and a lady. This is how everyone has known ELSA JIMENEZ, that cheerful girl who shows off her sportswear without fear of those who will say.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not been easy, where we always find ups and downs. There have been many obstacles. Mainly fear was one of them. Fear, why? Fear of rejection, fear of a society that believes it has the right to judge every individual that belongs to it, forgetting the essence of each person that complements it. It is a great challenge for some women to show themselves as they are, without filters, forgetting what they will say harmful social. My physical change has been a challenge after only being guided by a weight that over time I realized and accepted that it is only a number, that what really matters is being healthy, feeling good about yourself, and living the experiences you want to have of life, project all the good that you can contribute to many people and help without any type of fear and setbacks because we are real and only Let’s live in peace and without so many stereotypes.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am Venezuelan, I graduated as a lawyer in my country. I came to this country to whom I thank so many opportunities that it has given me. I became housekeeping, a job that many denigrate but that I feel proud to have done. I met excellent people in this environment and learned a trade that today is part of my discipline. Many know me for my entrepreneurship, my sale of sportswear for women regardless of their size, highlighting the most important “(authenticity” my slogan is “NON-TRANSPARENT,” and I wear every piece that I sell demonstrating that without looking a perfect figure we can look beautiful and with an original silhouette. This last is what makes me different from many, I am spontaneous, and I am willing to please highlight our beauty as a woman no matter what they say; we are unique!

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I consider myself very lucky, I don’t consider the ups and downs of life bad luck; that’s what life is about; we know both pain and the taste of victories. These without flavors make us grow and move on, see what else life has in store for us. It is a constant challenge that we must always enjoy regardless of the circumstances.
