Hi Zulin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m the creator of the YouTube Chanel “Ahorrando con nosotras”. I decide create my Chanel when I became a mother approximately 4 and a half years ago, and I fully dedicate myself to take care of my daughter. But when I stopped working my family’s income decreased so I began to investigate how to save money and I began to notice that there were coupons that arrived in my mailbox, so I decided to investigate how to use them, and I began to combine them with offers from the stores to get items at lower prices. I noticed that it was a lot that I could save with the use of coupons, so I started sharing the offers that I got on my Instagram page. Little by little the account grew and that motivated me to open a YouTube channel where, in addition to explaining in detail the offers I made, I could share video tutorials that could help those people who, like me, were looking to save with the use of coupons but they Didn’t know where to start. It has been a little over 3 years since the channel opened and I have been able to help and guide many people to get everyday items in our home at less than half the price.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s has not been an easy road. Working in social networks can be difficult, sometimes we are victims of cyberbullying and that can affect us on a personal and psychological level, especially when we are just starting out. Everything changes when you decide to give more importance to all those people who appreciate the support and the help you provide.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a content creator. On my YouTube channel, I am dedicated to teaching how you can get products at low cost through the use of coupons. I love teaching, I feel that I have an easy time making myself understood and I feel that many people have benefited from my tutorials and weekly sales videos and have been a great blessing to their home. I consider myself a perfectionist and I think that is reflected in the content that I share.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I learned to use coupons by reading Vlogs, and watching videos from other channels because unfortunately, I didn’t know anyone close to me who used them and who could guide me. I started my accounts in the same way, without knowledge of social networks, or anyone who could guide me from their experience, I have learned little by little throughout this time about them. However, I have to thanks my Followers that on numerous occasions they share offers that I can use as inspiration for my purchases or repost so that the rest of my community can take advantage of them.
