Today we’d like to introduce you to Samuel Hayles. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Sammy Sösa (Samuel Hayles) is currently blowing up on social media with his different style of music straight from the city of good neighbors, natively Jamaican but growing up on the West Side of Buffalo with a mix of cultures he picked up on Spanish from his Boricua family and friends. He has been performing and playing piano since a child, learning and mastering music theory.

He has located in West Palm Beach to further his career. He attended high school at the Buffalo Academy for visual and performing arts, graduating in 2017. It wasn’t until February 2021 that he started making music and taking it seriously and ran with it. In less than a year Sammy Sosa has grown faster as an artist than the rest of his peers who had years and years of being an artist before him.

Even though people tried to little bro him Sammy Sosa always knew his potential and his talents were far superior to others because of his studies as a child and his natural talents when it comes to the language of music. Remaining humble he continued to release tracks back to back all have a special meaning to him as far as the track released and when it was released.

Sammy Sosa did not receive any support from his family members, but this did not discourage him as his Boricua family loved and embraced him in every way and supported anything he did. Sammy Sosa‘s first song titled head doctor was released on April 18, 2021. His very first song was a hit from the jump and people around him and even his first producer were jealous and treated him shady because of his raw‘s talent especially since this was his first song ever and he was making music better than everybody in the town.

To reiterate he did not get discouraged because he knows his purpose and he knows who he is and what he is called for. Growing up on the west side of Buffalo his friend group and surroundings were a mixing pot Of different cultures from the time he was young he always loved Reggaeton music as early as listening to Romeo Santos and Prince Royce.

As he grew older being a pastor’s son and singing in the church as the praise and worship leader he expanded his outreach by singing bilingual songs to bring in more people to the church as at the time the church was located on Virginia Street right across from the Hispanic cultural center.

It wasn’t until he met his girlfriend Vanessa and was indoctrinated into her family and met Avelino that he began to embrace himself and to feel the utmost comfortable writing and studying Spanish also learned by ear from being around the family, this contributed greatly to his exponential growth in that genre.

He Loves to listen and dance to Bachata salsa dew bow Reggaeton and merengue. And of course, he loves to listen and dance to Dancehall music reggae music and embraces his Jamaican culture. Sammy Sosa travels to Jamaica frequently with his family. His family is from the Douglas castle area. Clarendon and Kellitz area.

Sammy Sosa is well known around Buffalo as he was a very popular person throughout school and he was a vocal major perfecting his craft and the use of his vocal instrument on top of playing the guitar and playing the piano he was last minute selected to host his graduating class pep rally and he turned that bitch up with no prior practice or preparation he is a natural born performer. Sammy Sosa is very well-known in the Boricua community and they are his number one supporters.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a rough road, as pressure creates a diamond, I understand it and accept the challenges ahead of me, I only have the knowledge to gain from the experience.

Common struggles like close ones not supporting you, and people deliberately hindering your progress, well trying at that. Nothing I can’t handle I expect it 100%, I’ve heard the “come up “ story before I know how the game goes

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I, Samuel Hayles am a freelancer in West Palm Beach Florida, relocating from Buffalo, NY. I specialize in social media marketing, account management, content creation, videography, and video editing. I use these tools to run my label “TRILL SVM” and everything involved. I am known in my hometown for being a player but I say I just get a lot of play, recently I performed there as a business move to reinvent my image which was a success.

Amongst the people who know me they know me for being energetic, dancing, and singing, I attended the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. What sets me apart from others is my knowledge of the music language as I have been studying and performing since I was a baby, singing and playing piano going on to learn guitar initially in the church

Who else deserves credit for your story?
I have plenty of supporters as it would seem but the reality is they are dwindling as my success rises, the ones who are close have even helped me get to where I am. I give Jesus the credit for always keeping me safe and protected from the imminent evil I will face, I also smoke a lot of marijuana which helps me focus to tap into my zone and be creative, and is 2nd to God bringing me to where I am today.

My mother played a big role, my girlfriend played a very important role as well, and my cheerleader was her younger cousin who I later took under my wing to help issue her talents and release a hit single “Another Girl” going viral all over the world, I thank God for both of these girls, my angels. Knowledge from my siblings on the music industry helped me a ton in the long run on how to move, I cannot name all but I have a lot of supporters
