Hi Josh, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
As someone who has been in Real Estate my whole life, I find any career within the industry enjoyable. In the past, I have developed multi-family properties and spent a fair amount of years completing hands-on work. Now, as a licensed Mortgage Agent in Canada, the position I take in any Real Estate project is more so from the managerial side of things.
In regards to Orlando, I used to spend a lot of time in this area up until about 2018. With the Housing market the way it is across the USA, and specifically in this area, I see a lot of opportunity for savvy investors. That is why I chose to launch a new venture here. We will be developing and rehabilitating single-family homes and multi-family buildings around the Orlando area.
This will come with an emphasis on affordable living solutions without sacrificing quality or design. In addition, we will be offering off-market real estate opportunities to other investors, delivering high equity deals.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My business and Real Estate journey has been fairly smooth. I started young at the age of 23. At that time I executed and managed a multi-family build in Canada. More followed afterward along with my obtaining my Mortgage Agent License in Ontario.
Any minor issues that arose in regard to real estate or business were always quickly mitigated. I am a firm believer in taking quick action in any area of life and always propelling forward.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Hallmont Property Group LLC?
This business is the core of our Orlando operations. The Orlando Venture is a multi-faceted real estate enterprise consisting of a few different ventures. The residential rehab projects are in one arm of the business, the rest consist of a soon-to-come rent-to-own platform, an investor Hub, as well as a new construction/large multi-family focused business.
Hallmont Property Group specifically is a real estate investment outfit specializing in securing high-margin, off-market properties. We have a completely streamlined process allowing our employees, sellers, and buyers to quickly progress through any real estate transaction, with everything done remotely and virtually.
Our brand will give a professional spin on this sector. As of now, the majority of businesses that operate in the off-market sector are very casual and fluid. Our firm will be structured, regulated, and rely heavily on processes and procedures on, allowing for honest and efficient transactions. The system I have created to allow this is what I am most proud of regarding this business.
What do you think about luck?
I believe luck is created. For someone to expect luck to appear out of thin air and complement their life is completely irrational. Through experience, I’ve come to realize that luck is like a piggy bank.
The harder you work, the more honest you are with yourself and others, and the more ethical you are in life the more that “piggy bank” of luck fills up. This leads to a luckier life and it seems that luck has a compounding factor to it.
