Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Reilly.
Hi Samantha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
When I started pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in accounting, I knew I wanted to do something different than a typical 9-5 job. I knew I wanted to do something in finance because I’ve always loved numbers, but I didn’t know what.
Right after I finished my degree my grandma, who is now 84, approached me and asked me to take over All Accounting Services & Taxes so she could retire. She knew she needed someone to take over because she didn’t want to leave her clients without her services. Since then, I have been growing the company and learning as much as I can.
Just last year we were working out of a garage that was turned into an office, and only had 200 clients. Now we have an actual office and have expanded to well over 800 clients. Now we are helping a wide range of people manage their companies and stay in compliance for tax purposes.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It wasn’t easy from the get-go. I came into the company fresh out of college. I had a lot of work experience, but I had gone from employer to employer. And I had to figure out how to do more than just make the company money.
I had to learn day-to-day operations, managing employees, and delegating. My grandma, Grace, who founded the company, helped me a lot along the way. She has been supporting me and picking up the slack when needed.

All Accounting Services & Taxes is a full-service accounting business. We offer a range of services but specialize in business-related accounting. We do monthly bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and tax returns. We also offer financial audits for individuals and businesses alike.
I’m proud to say that our company works around business and individual needs. We always go above and beyond for our clients. We often go to clients if they can’t come to us, we meet with our business clients regularly, and the best part is, my clients never hesitate to ask for help when they need it.
We make sure they feel comfortable enough to know we aren’t just there to do business, we also want them to succeed.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
We joined the local Chamber of Commerce here in Saint Cloud. That allowed us to get our foot in the door with many businesses, and really get our name out there. We attended quite a few events, and that was how we started getting referrals.
Now we make sure we build a good relationship with our clients, one that goes beyond business. This helps us get referrals because our clients know we are going to give their friends and family the same treatment.
